The France Palestine Solidarity Association (AFPS) wishes you all the best for the New Year. First and foremost, we wish you happiness and good health for you and your loved ones.
The year 2020 has been particularly hard for Palestinians. Isolated from the rest of the world, they have had to fight against two viruses: the coronavirus and the occupation. They have had to face the acceleration of Israel’s de facto annexation of their land, and have suffered unprecedented violence at the hands of the Israeli army and settlers.
All of us hope that the year 2021 will finally mark a turning point towards justice, the recognition of rights, and coexistence between peoples with equal rights.
We pledge our full support to our Palestinian friends in this struggle. We are counting on the activists of our organization to continue their commitment to international law, justice and equal rights throughout the coming year.
And to the world’s political leaders, we send a reminder that a wait-and-see attitude is no longer an option, and that the time has come to act against injustice and to uphold international law.
With this in mind, at the start of the year 2021, the AFPS wishes each and every one of you success in your commitment to creating a more just and united world, and every possible happiness.
