L'Association France Palestine Solidarité (AFPS) rassemble les personnes attachées au droit des peuples à disposer d'eux-mêmes, et à la défense de la personne humaine, pour développer la solidarité avec le peuple palestinien. L'Association France Palestine Solidarité soutient ce peuple notamment dans sa lutte pour la réalisation de ses droits nationaux.

Elle agit pour une paix réelle et durable, en lien avec le peuple palestinien et ses représentants légitimes au Proche-Orient fondée sur l'application du droit international.

Cette paix implique

– la fin de l'occupation de tous les territoires envahis en 1967 et le démantèlement de toutes les colonies
– la création d'un Etat palestinien indépendant, souverain et viable avec Jérusalem-Est pour capitale
– la reconnaissance du droit au retour des réfugiés conformément à la résolution 194 votée par l'assemblée générale de l'Onu

Les activités de l'Association se développent sur 4 plans complémentaires :

– Information et action politique. Travail de mobilisation de l'opinion publique. Intervention citoyenne auprès des représentants élus dans les institutions locales, régionales, nationales et européennes, et auprès des médias. Interpellation des pouvoirs publics en France et dans l'Union Européenne
– Soutien moral, matériel et humanitaire, spécialement en faveur des populations palestiniennes les plus défavorisées, en particulier des réfugiés dans les camps
– Aide au développement et coopération dans tous les domaines avec les organisations de la société civile palestinienne
– Connaissance et échanges mutuels. Intervention sur tous les aspects, notamment culturels et éducatifs.

L'Association coopère également avec les Associations israéliennes dont l'objectif clairement exprimé est le soutien aux droits nationaux du peuple palestinien.

L'Association adhère aux regroupements d'organisations qui partagent ses objectifs à l'échelle nationale (plateforme des ONG françaises pour la Palestine), européenne (ECCP) et internationale.

L'Association se réclame du principe de laïcité et est ouverte à toute personne physique ou morale, à l'exclusion de celles qui professent une idéologie raciste.

Toute personne membre de l'Association s'engage à respecter les termes de cette charte et toute prise de position publique qui s'en écarte ne peut engager l'Association.

The members of France - Palestine Solidarity Association are attached to the right of peoples to self-determination and to the defence of the individual. Their purpose is to develop solidarity with the Palestinian people and to support them particularly in their fight for the fulfilment of their national rights.

The aim of the association is to promote a real and lasting peace, in relation with the Palestinian people and its legitimate representatives in the Mid - East based on the enforcement of international law.

To achieve peace it is necessary to obtain :

– The end of the occupation of all the territories invaded in 1967 and the dismantling of all the colonies
– The creation of an independent, sovereign and viable palestinian State, with East - Jerusalem as its capital.
– The recognition of the rights of the refugees to return to their country, according to the 194 resolution voted by the UN General Assembly.

The activities of the Association focus on four points :

– Information and political action.

* Mobilization of public opinion.
* Citizens' intervention to the elected representatives in local, regional, national and european institutions and to the media. Interpellation of authorities in France and in the European Union.

– Moral, material and humanitarian support, particulary in favour of the most underprivileged palestinian populations, among them refugees living in camps.

– Help for development and cooperation in all fields in common with the organizations of the palestinian civil society.

– Mutual exchange and contacts. Intervention on all aspects, particularly cultural and educational.

The Association will also cooperate with Israeli associations whose clearly stated purpose is to support the national rights of the Palestinian people.

The Association will join the groupings of organizations sharing its objectives on a national scale
(French NGOs for Palestine) as well as on a european (ECCP) and international scale.

The Association claims to be secular and welcomes any legal entity or individual, with the exclusion of people who support a racist ideology.

All the members of the Association commit themselves to respect this charter. The Association won't take responsibility for public statements departing from the pinciples of this charter.

A National Council, composed of fifty representatives from the local branches, meets every three months.
